Books can be acquired through pickup or shipping for an additional charge.

Please indicate your name, contact information, the preferred method of receiving the book(s)—pickup or delivery, how many books you would like, and if you are a member of the WCHS. The historical society will arrange the delivery or pickup. Please be aware that shipping charges will be extra.

Lamers Ice Cream in a Bag Recipe

Enjoy this sweet homemade treat anytime! The recipe is below. Recipe courtesy of Lamers Dairy Inc.

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup Lamers Dairy Dairyland’s Best Half & Half

• 1 tablespoon sugar

• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

• 1 sandwich ziploc bag

• 1 gallon ziploc bag

• 3 cups crushed ice

• 1/3 cup rock salt (Note: sea salt can be used as a substitute, too)

Directions

1. Put first three ingredients in the smaller ziploc bag and seal bag tightly.

2. Put ice and rock salt in the larger bag and then add the filled small bag. Seal the large bag.

3. Squeeze bag until ice cream is thickened, about 10-15 minutes.

4. Remove small bag, unseal and enjoy! (We recommend adding your favorite toppings for an even sweeter treat!)
