Become a Member

When you join the Winnebago County Historical Society, you become part of the ongoing effort to preserve and share the stories, records, and artifacts that define our community. Your membership directly supports local research, educational programs, public events, and the preservation and care of the historic Morgan House, one of our county’s most treasured landmarks.

Membership includes access to society programs and events, updates on local history initiatives, and the County Fare newsletter (emailed free or mailed for an additional $5).

All membership levels — except Life — are annual memberships.

Membership Levels

Individual Membership – $25.00
For one person who wants to support and stay connected to local history.

Couples Membership – $50.00
For two adults at the same household who wish to participate together.

Family Membership – $60.00
For families who want to support preservation and engage the next generation in local history.

Student Membership (Ages 18–25) – $5.00
For students interested in learning, research, and community heritage.

Life Membership – $250.00
A one-time membership that provides lifelong support for the Society’s mission and the long-term stewardship of the Morgan House.
